大家好，我是杜逸舟。我是2020届西交PPIE出国留学项目的一名学员。很多人都说高考这条路便是千军万马过独木桥，没有破釜沉舟的毅力，难以窥得骊珠。我不幸失利，在挣扎求索间在这寻得一条求学的道路。来到这里或许是机缘巧合，或许是命运使然，而在这不过短短一年的学习生活中，我逐渐明白当离开父母的庇荫后独立的重要以及作为一个成年人所应肩负的责任。

在高中里我的英语水平并不出彩，而当我决定出国留学时才认识到语言沟通的重要性。在经过培训以及不断的练习中，我的英语水平有了显著的提升，取得了雅思7分的成绩。让我感触良多的是这里老师的亲切与热心，因为她们的倾情付出让本为枯燥的学习课堂增添了几分色彩。我的英语写作水平也取得了喜人的进步。

惠特曼说：“自我，生命，这些问题总是不停地出现。”当真正脱开书本去关心自己的生活，自己的未来，自己所要完成的事，学会对自己负责时，我们再不是曾经只会依赖他人的孩犊。青春须早为，岂可长少年。愿每一个西交的学子都能历尽千帆，归来仍是少年。

Hello, I'm Du Yizhou. I am a student of PPIE overseas study program of xi 'an jiaotong university in 2020. A lot of people say that the college entrance examination is like thousands of troops and horses crossing the single-plank bridge. If you are lacking in desperate perseverance, it is difficult to see the fortune. Unfortunately, I failed. I struggled to seek for a way to study here. It is hard to say I came here by chance or by fate, but during just one year's study and life here, I gradually understood the importance of being independent after leaving the shadow of my parents and the responsibilities I should shoulder as an adult.

My English level was not outstanding in high school. Not until I decided to study abroad did I realize the importance of language communication. After the training and continuous practice, my English proficiency has improved significantly, and I have got an IELTS score of 7. What touches me a lot is the teachers here who are kind and warm-hearted. The course is colourful because of their dedication to the original boring learning process. My English writing skills have also made great progress.

"Self, life, these questions keep coming up," Whitman said. When we really leave the books to care about our own lives, our own future, what we need to accomplish and learn to be responsible for ourselves, we are no longer the children who once only rely on others. Since youth is not forever, we should make achievements now. I wish every student in xi 'an jiaotong can sail thousands of miles and come back with a young heart.
